Arrillaga Student Center

‘Iolani School is excited to share images of a stunning new addition planned for our campus. With completion estimated for the winter of 2025, the new Arrillaga Student Center will transform the heart of our campus as an engaging and inviting new gathering space for the entire school community.

Here students, parents, faculty/staff, alumni, friends and visitors will come together to learn, dine, collaborate and celebrate, while developing bonds that will last a lifetime.

‘Iolani School is a culturally diverse, college preparatory school for 2,200 students in kindergarten through 12th grade founded upon Christian values.

The Latest at ‘Iolani

Eddie Hamada statue and 'One Team' wall

After years of planning, the Eddie Hamada Legacy Project installed a life-size bronze statue of Edward K. Hamada ’46 and a “One Team” wall display on Jan. 26. The project strives to educate students about the shared values that make our school special.

The passing of The Rev. David P. Coon

With a heart heavy with sorrow and uplifted by appreciation, we share news of the passing of The Rev. David P. Coon. The longest-serving Headmaster in ‘Iolani School history (1970-92) passed away on Dec. 12. He was 95.

Thirty years of ratios and relationships

The 2022-23 school year marked the ‘Iolani Math Team’s 30th consecutive state championship. That set a new Hawai‘i state record for the most consecutive state championships by any high school team (academic, athletic or otherwise). The common denominator -- Mr. Michael Park.
